Here are my favourite online finds from the week…

iemzaMy dad sent me a link to the street art and drawings of IEMZA and I’m totally smitten. One of the images look a lot like an idea I had for a future tattoo, so of course I’ve pinned it as a reference image. ;)

catsbrothersI discovered Cats Brothers at the beautiful little East London shop where they had their launch party and their premiere collection is finally available for sale. I’m itching for the opening of their online store in March so I can get my hands on this crocheted skull dress. I definitely recommend checking out the rest of their lookbook - the Frieda Kahlo theme is absolutely wonderful.

china03Trixie Delicious upcycles Victorian china with a punk rock twist – so my style! Man would I love to get my hands on this set of skull plates (unfortunately already sold). Luckily her shop is filled with many wonderful treasures, like teacups that proclaim “whore” or “bitch,” and who couldn’t use one of those?

friesI’m itching to make these cornmeal sweet potato fries and I have a little trick up my sleeve that I think will make them even more delicious.

It sounds like this “bird ballet” video has made its way around the blogosphere a few times already, but I just discovered it this week (via Sandy Braz) and I have to admit it took my breath away. What a beautiful collaboration of human creativity and nature’s inherent genius. Give it a watch and let me know what you think.

What are the coolest things you found online this week? I’d love to hear!

xx S.

  1. I am absolutely obsessed with that Etsy shop! I’ve been stalking her designs and I plan to scoop up some sets as soon as I deem myself responsible enough to care for glass pieces (college apt + crazy dogs = plastic EVERYTHING)
