A Belated Birthday Giveaway!

giveawayI’m so excited to be … dun dun dun … hosting my very first giveaway! It was actually supposed to go live last Thursday in celebration of my birthday. I was being spoiled, so I wanted to sieze the opportunity to spoil one of you! Unfortunately technical difficulties prevented me from getting it up on time (hence why it’s been so quiet around here), but I am notorious for stretching my birthday out for as long as possible so a late start is actually rather fitting. And hey, it’s almost spring, so what’s not to celebrate? With the help of some of my wonderful sponsors, I’ve put together a delightful package of treats to giveaway. Check out these great prizes, because one lucky reader is taking them all home…

superstitionAdrian is the mastermind behind the blog Adrian Loves Owls. She also offers pretty vintage finds for sale on Etsy and today she’s giving away a $25 gift certificate to her shop!

starryeyed copyTaraLee is a fellow Canadian and an amazing small business owner. I discovered her shop, Starry Eyed Bowtique on Instagram and was instantly smitten. She offers something for everyone, from traditionally feminine bows to PVC pieces with an edgy twist. If you’re our lucky winner, you’ll get to select two micro hair bows in the colours of your choosing.

caraCara isn’t just an inspiring blogger; she’s also a published author! Her debut novel, Elegantly Wasted, is a chilling thriller that will leave you guessing until the very last page. Cara is giving away an electronic copy and a poster of the book’s sinister cover. Wouldn’t it look amazing in your home framed with black matte?

ringI’m kind of obsessed with crystals lately – adorning myself with them, reading about them, holding them in my hands. Whether you believe in their powers or not, (I’m on the fence, but prefer to see the magic) this oversized sparkly cocktail ring is sure to put a smile on your face. (Stone will be similar but not identical to the one pictured. You will have your choice of silver plated or gold tone ring back. Ring is fully adjustable.)

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Giveaway is open internationally. A winner will be randomly selected a week from today (Friday, March 15) and you can enter daily until then. Good luck!

Thanks so much to my sponsors for making this giveaway possible and thank you for supporting my little blog!

P.S. Can you tell I got a tablet for my birthday? I’m in love, so excuse me while I practice with it by writing on every single photograph I post. ;)

  1. I beat the winter blues by trying to always go outside. Even if it’s totally cloudy and dreary, just seeing the sky makes me feel a little bit better!!

  3. Jo

I go for long walks outside to refresh myself with the cold air and drink a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate after :)

  4. I live in Florida so our “winter” is really a big joke haha. It does get slightly cold for like a week or two and during that time I (and a lot of Floridians!) like to spend lots of time outdoors to enjoy the change! Kinda backwards, but that’s life near the Equator.

  5. I love to beat the winter blahs by finding fantastic new DIY tutorials to try out. This year I really got into StumnleUpon and also started my own blog (which needs work) to post my own DIYs! I also curling up with tea and a book.

  6. I keep the house brimming with flowers..it certainly helps:)

  7. I love the vintage pastel checkered blouse!
I also heart you on etsy!

  8. Winter blahs: I play music all the time in my apartment. (Usually 8tracks mixes, sometimes Pandora radio, sometimes from my iTunes library.) I keep my apartment well-lit and have the windows open whenever it’s sunny. I refuse to sleep away the day. I go swimming a couple times a week. I take Vitamin D tablets every night and sit under my sun light whenever I can. I be sure to recharge fully on my weekends, not stress out and deal with drama. Also, I avoid eating fast food when I’m feeling down, and focus on preparing my own meals at home. It makes a huge difference!

  9. Also, my favorite Superstition Vintage piece is the 90′s floral dress… too cute! Love those big puffy sleeves and the vibrant print.

  10. Need to beat the winter blues? Nothing gets me through the dark days like planning a theme costume party. Let your guests know costumes are mandatory, and give them plenty of time so they can work on their most creative outfit!

This year I beat the winter blues by going to the Dominican (my first ever away from Canada trip). It really helped break up the cold and dreary days. I also play a lot of sports to stay active.

How to beat the winter blues: the largest cup of tea I can find paired with a cozy blanket. Throw in some Madmen or a Kate Morton novel and I wouldn’t notice the seasons changing.

  13. Oh yay!!! Thank you so much! I can’t wait!! I am so excited! :]
