I spent today in rehearsal for a hair show I’m in tomorrow and trying to squeeze my entire wardrobe into two bags (spoiler: it’s not going to work). I can’t believe I only have two more sleeps in Canada! I’m definitely feeling the time crunch now, but we still have book club business to attend to. ;) There were just a few chapters left in Red, Hot, and Holy this week. I decided not to post reflection questions, since it’s almost time for our first link-up! Instead, I’m just popping by with a few updates…
I’ll be publishing my own post about the book, which will include the linkup, at 9am EST on Tuesday, October 1 and you’ll be able to add your own post to the linkup at any point throughout the week. Feel free to look at the book from any angle that speaks to you, whether it’s a review, a reflection, or something else entirely. I’m really interested to hear what everyone thought about this very unconventional memoir.
Starting in October, I decided to switch up the format of The Self-Love Book Club. We’ll still do a monthly link-up, so that we can all share our thoughts on the book, but I won’t be doing a weekly post anymore. Instead I’ve set up a Facebook group for discussion. I think this will be more interactive and also means that readers who aren’t interested in the book club, don’t have to read quite as much about it. ;) If you’ve already started reading with us, or are even just thinking about it, I hope you’ll join the group! If Facebook is not a format that works for you, please let me know and I can start looking into other options.
And don’t forget, I’d love to hear your feedback on what you’d like to read in November!
