my first 7 pretty things post.

I’ve been having a glorious Sunday! After getting almost all of my weekend chores done yesterday, I’ve been enjoying a lazy morning reading blogs, looking at pretty things online, and enjoying copious amounts of tea. I have some fun crafting planned for this afternoon. In fact, I’ve already gotten my fingers covered in glitter once today. But right now I’m taking a break to join the 7 pretty things link party and share some inspiration with you…

  1. tea cup skirt from Tree People: I love the print and the clasically feminine silhouette. I can see myself wearing it to work and for Sunday morning brunch dates.
  2. brooch bouquet from fantasy floral: I know the brooch bouquets that have been taking the blogosphere by storm are meant for weddings, but I’d like to make one to add a dash of sparkle to the Bachelorette Pad.
  3. Ona camera bag: the venice bag is one of the prettiest camera bags I’ve seen. It’s definitely out of my budget right now, but that hasn’t stopped me from lusting after it.
  4. Bali resort spa treehouse: I’ve been doing a lot of fantasy vacationing lately and this treehouse in Bali is breathtaking. Doesn’t it look like the perfect place for daydreaming?
  5. pink ampersand print by Kathy Panton: I’m always had a fascination with type and this has only become even more true since starting at the magazine. I love the abstract print of this pretty ampersand print. It would look adorable as part of the frame wall I’m planning.
  6. floral wall decal from Ebay: I actually bought this decal for my bedroom when I first moved in but it didn’t quite fit on the wall. I finally put it up this week and I love the pop of colour it’s adding to my living room; so cheery and bright!
  7. Amelie: With my recent case of wanderlust, I’ve found myself wanting to watch this beautiful movie. It’s one of my favourites and the closest I’m going to come to walking through Montmartre for a little while.

What pretty things have you been enjoying on this lovely Sunday? Whatever you’re doing, I hope you have a beautiful day!

xoxo

  1. I am not usually a wall decal fan…but that one is stunning! It looks more like wallpaper than a decal – looooove!

Thanks, I really love it too!
The typewriter you picked out is gorgeous. I have my fingers crossed that I’ll get one for my birthday. :)
