A Delicious Giveaway with KIND Snacks

kindgiveaway

When I was contacted by KIND Snacks to try out their new bar flavours as a clean, on-the-go snack, I was excited to say yes. Gwyneth Paltrow is a big fan of their products and I know she tends to be an advocate of clean diets. Plus, they pride themselves on only using “whole ingredients you can see and pronounce,” which is a philosophy I can definitely get behind.

They sent me a very generous sampling of their bars and granola and I have to tell you: the flavour combinations are amazing. Maple glazed pecan & sea salt? Yes, please! Dark chocolate chili almond? Oooooh mercy me! And each one lives up to its delicious name.

My only concern was when I saw “non GMO glucose” listed on the ingredients. I feared it was another name for high fructose corn syrup – a high glycemic sweetener that I try to avoid. When I contacted their PR rep, she very kindly explained to me that they don’t use corn syrup and every recipe is formulated to be low glycemic – which is great for a hypoglycemic gal like me.

I’m absolutely in love with their granola as well. I’ve been having some stomach problems recently and if I don’t eat something as soon as I get up, I feel really sick. So before I even have time to make my green smoothie, I eat a small bowl of granola with goat’s milk yogurt. It’s so tasty and satiating.

IMG_9658KIND Snacks has been, well, kind enough to offer one lucky reader the same gift package that I received.

Prize Package (valued at approx. $60): 2 of your own personal boxes of KIND bars – including one box of each of KIND’s newest KIND Nuts & Spices flavors: Dark Chocolate Chili Almond and Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt (12 bars of each flavor, 24 bars total). My favorite snack, healthy or otherwise, is homemade trail mix. I go heavy on the pepitas and almonds, throw in some dried fruit and toss in a couple of chopped up macadamia nuts. It is delish!
