My First Art Journal.

IMG_9833I mentioned a while ago that I started my first art journal and I thought it would be fun to share some of the pages I’ve created so far…

IMG_9824 IMG_9826 IMG_9829 IMG_9830 IMG_9832It’s become one of my favourite things to do, sitting down with a pile of magazine pages, photographs, art supplies, and ephemera. I’m by no means an artist, but all of the cutting and pasting and splashing colour onto pages is somehow soothing. It’s the perfect way to work out thoughts, remember inspiration, and archive memories. I love my regular pen and paper journal, but I’m excited to have this colourful book to look back on as well.

If you’re new to art journaling as well, I’ve been using Elsie’s Art Journal All Year e-course for inspiration and I highly recommend it.

Do you keep an art journal? I’d love to hear your tips!
